I receive this error when I trying to install Docker engine on Linux Neon with KDE Plasma 6.


I’ve asked chats and searched and found that if you install application from /tmp folder _apt user have rights there and there is no error any more.


Root drive/tmp – folder, copy your deb file there and run it

Also moved to the Ubuntu/Debian BASED sub-forum section,
as linux neon ( probably KDE Neon) is not an Ubuntu nor an Ubuntu Flavor.
